Town Officials Sworn In For New Term

Town President Larry Dominick, Town Clerk Maria Punzo-Arias, Town Supervisor Joe Virusso, Town Trustee Trustee Larry Banks, and newly elected-Town Trustee Bob Porod were sworn into office for new terms at the May 9, 2017, board meeting.

“We are thankful to Cicero’s residents for entrusting us to continue to improve this wonderful town for the next four years,” Dominick said. “A lot has been done, but there is still a great amount of work to do.”

Porod fills the vacancy left from former Trustee Lorraine Walsh’s retirement in April. He is slated to serve a full four-year term. Also elected this year, but swearing in during a December board meeting are Town Assessor Emilio “Emo” Cundari and Town Collector Fran Reitz. Though they were elected at the same time as the others, their terms run on a different schedule.
