Life-long Cicero resident, Collector Fran Reitz, attended Our Lady of Charity grammar school and Morton East high school in Cicero.

She went on to attend Elmhurst College and majored in Business Administration. She spent the summer of '84 working as an intern with the Town of Cicero as a component of her second major, Urban Studies. Upon college graduation, she was offered a full-time position as a town employee with Cicero.

Fran has been working for the Town of Cicero for 25 years. During her tenure with the Town, she has worked for the Building Department, Blight Department, Assessor's Office, Personnel Department, Community Planning & Development Department, Town Newsletter Department, Cicero Youth Commission and currently serves as Town Collector since '04.

    Fran is the proud mother to her three children, ages 15, 12 and 10 and is currently attending graduate school at DePaul University and will graduate in the summer of 2009 with a Masters Degree in Public Services.

    She is thrilled by the opportunity to continue to serve the Town of Cicero, improving the town and the lives of its citizens. Fran greatly admires the direction that Town President Larry Dominick has led the "New Cicero". She is proud to serve with him on the Town Board as they work diligently to continue to move forward making great progress and improving the quality of lives for the families and residents of the Town of Cicero.

    Town of Cicero Vehicle Stickers

    Purchase your sticker NOW to avoid waiting in LONG LINES at the end of June!

    1) All vehicles in town must have current Cicero vehicle stickers.

    2) Vehicle owners have 30 days from the date of purchase on the vehicle registration, or from the date on which the owner changed address, to purchase a vehicle sticker without incurring a late charge of $50.00.

    3) Transfer stickers are $10.00 when the original sticker and receipt are provided (otherwise, the full sticker fee applies).

    4) Stickers purchased after June 30, 2010, are subject to a $50.00 late fee.

    5) Payment accepted in the form of cash, check or money order (payable to Town of Cicero). See the Vehicle Sticker Fee Schedule for more information

    6) A $30.00 NSF fee is charged for any returned check.

    7) Proof of Illinois State Registration Identification Card

    8) Proof of current insurance is required for every vehicle sticker purchase.

    9) All parking fines must be paid prior to purchasing sticker(s).

    10) The Town of Cicero is not responsible for lost or stolen stickers under any circumstances.

    11) Office hours at the Town Hall (4949 West Cermak Rd) are Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Closed Fridays and weekends. Call 656-3600 ext. 234 & 251 with any questions.

    12) Affix the new sticker immediately after receiving it, and remove all expired stickers.


    2010/2011 Cicero Vehicle Sticker is valid until June 30, 2011.


    If purchasing sticker(s) by mail:
  • Complete and sign application form below, and mail with the following:
  • Copy of insurance card
  • Copy of State Registration ID Card
  • The required fee (check or money order payable to Town of Cicero)
  • Return form, fee and a self-addressed stamped envelope

    If purchasing sticker(s) in person:
  • Complete and sign application form, and bring to Town Hall with fee.
  • Bring along current insurance card.
  • Bring State Registration ID Card
