Established in 1993, the five time Illinois Governor's Home Town Award Winning Cicero Youth Commission offers quality programs for the youth of Cicero. The mission of the CYC is to provide educational and recreational opportunities for youth oftentimes focusing on family involvement. Activities are offered after school and weekends. The CYC After School program is offered from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on school days. Summer Camp is offered during the summer from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Homework, arts & crafts, team sports, swimming and weekly themes are planned. For information, please call 708-863-9078.
Cicero Safety Town Cicero Safety Town features replicas of portions of a town with streets, sidewalks, buildings, a railroad crossing, streetlights and more. The program introduces safety awareness to first grade students in Cicero.

Comfy Covers Program The CYC "Comfy Covers" Program involves fleece blankets being created during the year by forming knots to combine fleece material into a warm and comfortable cover. These beautiful blankets have been donated to an orphanage in Ecuador, a Hospital in Guatemala, Cicero Senior Commission, and President's Office for persons with disabilities and to veterans after recently serving their tour of duty for the U.S.
