Notice Of The Town of Cicero’s Request for Qualifications

TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Cicero, Illinois (the “Town”) has issued a Request for Qualifications to qualified interested parties for sealed, written qualifications for a plan review specialist for the Town. The Request for Qualifications may be picked up from the Building Department, located in the Cicero Municipal Complex, located at 4949 West Cermak Road, Cicero, Illinois, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All qualifications must be received by Tom M. Tomschin, Building Commissioner, by mail or personal delivery (no qualifications sent via facsimile or electronic mail will be accepted), by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012. The Request for Qualifications shall not create any legal obligations on the Town to evaluate any qualification that is submitted or to enter into any contract or other agreement with any party who submits a qualification except on terms and conditions the Town, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems to be satisfactory and desirable. The right is reserved by the Town to reject any and all qualifications.

Notice of Invitation for Bids — Light Bulbs

TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Cicero, Illinois (the "Town") has issued an Invitation for Bids to qualified interested parties for sealed, written bids for supplying the Town with certain compact fluorescent light bulbs and light emitting diode light bulbs. The Invitation for Bids, including specifications, may be picked up from the Office of the Clerk, located on the first floor of the Cicero Municipal Complex, located at 4949 West Cermak Road, Cicero, Illinois, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interested parties may also contact the Town of Cicero Clerk's Office at (708) 656-3600 to request that a copy of the Invitation for Bids, including specifications, be sent to them via electronic mail. Interested parties requesting that the Invitation for Bids be sent to them via electronic mail do so at their own risk. The Town will not be responsible for any delays, interruptions or any other issue arising in connection with the delivery of the Invitation for Bids via electronic mail. All bids must be received by the Office of the Clerk, by mail or personal delivery (no bids submitted via facsimile or electronic mail will be accepted), by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. The bids will be opened publicly in Conference Room A150 on the First Floor of the Cicero Municipal Complex on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11:15 a.m. The Invitation for Bids shall not create any legal obligations on the Town to evaluate any bid that is submitted or to enter into any contract or other agreement with any party who submits a bid except on terms and conditions the Town, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems to be satisfactory and desirable. The right is reserved by the Town to reject any and all bids.

Request for Proposal — Lighting Retrofitting

TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Cicero, Illinois (the "Town") has issued a Request for Proposals to qualified interested parties for sealed, written proposals for retrofitting lighting fixtures and sensors in the interior of eight (8) municipal buildings located in the Town. The Request for Proposals, including specifications, may be picked up from the Office of the Clerk, located on the first floor of the Cicero Municipal Complex, located at 4949 West Cermak Road, Cicero, Illinois, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All proposals must be received by the Office of the Clerk, by mail or personal delivery (no proposals sent via facsimile or electronic mail will be accepted), by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. The proposals will be opened publicly in Conference Room A150 on the First Floor of the Cicero Municipal Complex on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. The Request for Proposals shall not create any legal obligations on the Town to evaluate any proposal that is submitted or to enter into any contract or other agreement with any party who submits a proposal except on terms and conditions the Town, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems to be satisfactory and desirable.
