| Dominick Welcomes New Furniture Business (FAMSA) to Town |
One of Town President Larry Dominick’s commitments to Cicero residents was to bring businesses back to the town to expand both economic opportunities and offer a greater diversity of retail shopping and entertainment options for Cicero families. The forthcoming redevelopment of Sportsman’s Park will be the greatest testament to this commitment but Dominick has not rested on that project. Other new entrants to the Cicero community have included: a new movie theater (Kerasotes); a Lowe’s Home Improvement Center and Super Wal-Mart in the offing (Bel-Air Drive); a plethora of small family businesses that have sprung up, and now a new family furniture store.
On Saturday, March 1, Dominick cut the ribbon officially welcoming FAMSA, a family furniture store with more than 330 locations in the U.S. and Mexico, to Cicero and their new location in Hawthorne Plaza.
